Note : We use traditional Kyoto techniques to produce many products that cannot be mass-produced by machine, such as Yuzen and Dyeing. Therefore, depending on the product, there may be slight variations in color and pattern.
This pattern, which was introduced from China as "Meimono-Sakari", is called "Araiso" in Japan. In China, it was believed that when a carp travels up the Yellow River and passes through the dragon gate at the top of a waterfall, it turns into a dragon. This pattern was used as a "pattern to wish for the healthy growth of children" because it shows carp jumping and dancing between the waves, and as a "symbol of promotion" because this fish is a symbol of success. The "Araiso" pattern is applied to the "Oborozome" pattern, which is named after the hazy shades of the "Oboro" pattern. Although it is a classic pattern, it does not make you feel old-fashioned, and the natural unevenness of the ground gives it a soft texture that can be used anywhere. We have prepared a chic [Kuro-nezu]. It is a soft and comfortable weave with a rough texture.
