The seasonal symbols for autumn are 'ebony and wild grapes. This 'Noren', created in the style of sumie (ink painting), exudes a tasteful atmosphere and a strong sense of the season. Crafted with delicate and meticulous strokes by Kyoto artisans, it offers an elegant finish that will envelop you in a cozy ambiance reminiscent of a bountiful harvest. The fabric is made of cotton 'butcher's cloth,' woven using a combination of plain weave and Nanako weave with threads of varying thickness, resulting in a soft and comfortable texture that allows you to appreciate the intricacies of the woven threads.
